UW Huskies Advance to NCAA Super Regionals! Go Dawgs!
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 24th, 2010
Bytor Security congratulates the women of the University of Washington’s stellar softball team who beat North Carolina in yesterday’s NCAA regional final.

The Seattle Times reports that the win was captured when Freshman catcher Shawna Wright “ripped a game-winning double down the left-field line to drive in Jenn Salling from second in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the third-seeded Huskies to the win in front of 1,760 at Husky Softball Stadium.”
Way to go, Dawgs!

Raleigh Welcomes WakeMed Children’s Hospital
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 23rd, 2010
Bytor Security wants to congratulate Wake County on its first children’s hospital. The 45-bed facility has several “special spaces” which include patient suites designed to service families with multiple sick children.
The children’s hospital is located in a new, four-story, 168,000-square-foot tower on WakeMed’s Raleigh campus and includes a pediatric intensive care unit.
The news of the new children’s facility is made even sweeter because 100% of the $90 million it took to build the hospital was donated.
As you can imagine, employee and staff identification and access is important in any hospital but essential in children’s hospitals where the patients are extra vulnerable. Bytor Security Solutions offers several choices of proximity access cards including the 1336 DuoProx II card. The DuoProx II multiple technology card offers proximity, magnetic stripe and photo identification technologies on a single access control card.
Another high security concern is the identification of visitors. Bytor Security Solutions offers several visitor ID solutions such as LIGHTbadge Expiring Badges, TEMPbadge Expiring Wristbands and TEMPbadge Expiring Parking Permits.
Bytor Security’s Raleigh, NC, division hopes you will consider us first for your access badge accessories and visitor identification supplies. Please contact us and we’ll supply you with your ideal employee ID supplies.
Again, congratulations to you Raleigh and thank you for visiting.
Salt Lake Celebrates Folk and Ethnic Arts
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 20th, 2010
Hey Salt Lake City – Bytor Security Solutions suggests you check out Living Traditions this weekend. Now in it’s 25th year, Living Traditions is a celebration of Salt Lake’s Folk and Ethnic Arts.

The Salt Lake City Arts Council is presenting this fabulous celebration and aims to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to honor cultural traditions and diversity within beautiful Salt Lake City. Local ethnic artists, craftspeople, dancers, musicians, and chefs will provide entertainment, education and refreshment throughout the 3-day Festival. Expect to learn about techniques, styles, tools and materials used in their respective art forms, many of which are centuries old.
Bytor Security would like to acknowledge the folks at Salt Lake City Arts Council and the hundreds of volunteers that work so hard to bring an event of this size and quality to fruition. The level of organization it takes to pull off such an event is mind boggling. Thank you!
We here at Bytor Security want to remind you that we should be your first stop for festival supplies. We are well-stocked with huge inventories of event supplies, including temporary parking permits, expiring name badges and wristbands which make it so easy to identify volunteers and attendees. Badge holders, badge clips and custom lanyards make it easy for organizers to ID paid personnel and VIPS.
Are you planning a festival or event? No matter what size, please contact us at http://bytorsecurity.com and we will supply your needs.
Thank you for visiting.
Natural Disaster Awareness and Assistance
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 19th, 2010
This week marks the 30th anniversary of the Mount St. Helens volcano eruption. The loss of life, property and natural beauty was devastating and is still felt in Washington State.

We here at Bytor Security want to acknowledge and honor all those who suffered these tremendous losses.
The recent colossal floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis and other life altering events, like Mt. St. Helens, certainly drive home the fact that a natural disaster can strike anytime – often without warning.
Of course no one can prevent (or even accurately predict!) such catastrophes but we can, and should, be prepared for what to do if disaster strikes. Bytor Security encourages you to have both a family and a business plan in the event of a natural disaster. You can find planning information at http://tinyurl.com/aw286q.
For other business security preparedness, please look to us. We are your one-stop destination for Security Cameras, Event Security Supplies, Employee ID Supplies and all the Badge Accessories you need for your business, organization or event. We’ve got you covered.

Superhero Mom (and Dad!)
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 9th, 2010
In our last entry we wrote about a Bellevue, WA, kid named Erik Martin who had his Make-a-Wish dream come true by becoming Super Hero, Electron Boy, for a day. The story is wonderful and uplifting, but there is another story here, too. The story of the superhero foster mom and dad who have cared for Erik since he was 6 weeks old.

According to the Seattle Times, Erik was placed with Judy and Jeremy Martin, a Bellevue couple who started caring for “medically fragile” foster children 15 years ago. They have housed and cared for 27 foster children over the years. All have returned to their families except for three, Erik among them.
Every morning it takes Judy Martin 20 minutes to mix Erik’s medications. Erik cannot eat through his mouth. He is connected to a feeding tube that is attached to a portable machine that provides his nutrition.
On this Mother’s Day, Bytor Security Systems wants to acknowledge and celebrate Judy Martin – a super hero by any measure.
We would also like to acknowledge all those who work to secure safety for the rest of us. If your business, institution, organization or event uses identification badge holders or any other employee ID supplies, Bytor Security has you covered. Look to us for other security accessories including: ID card lanyards, badge reels, badge clips, name tag holders, and photo security cameras.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please contact us to discuss how we can best serve your security needs.
Oh – and Happy Mother’s Day.
Security Superhero is only 13
Posted by admin in Bytor Security on May 6th, 2010
Bytor Security Systems wants to thank Seattle Superhero, Electron Boy, who, with a little help from hundreds of friends, rescued imprisoned Seattle Sounders, a trapped PSE employee and others last Thursday.
Really.
According to the Seattle Times, 13-year-old Erik Martin (aka Electron Boy), who is combating cancer, has always wanted to be a superhero. Last Thursday, the regional chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted him this wish. Hundreds of people in both Bellevue and Seattle played along and created an unforgettably fabulous day for this very special person.

To read more about Erik and his adventures in saving the Seattle Sounders and defeating the sinister duo, Dr. Dark and Blackout Boy, go to http://tinyurl.com/2eptt2r.
Unfortunately we do live in a world with a few sinister people who are, plainly and simply, just up to no good. Here at Bytor Security Systems, we are doing our part to help secure your business, organization and events with a myriad of employee ID supplies including ID card lanyards, badge reels, badge clips, name tag holders, security ID cameras and security badge holders.
If your business or organization uses ID security, please feel free to contact us to discuss how we can best serve you.
Thanks for visiting.
